Turn your world
into a plane

ION is a spatial social layer on top of your life. Instead of a feed you scroll, you get an infinite plane where your people, music, notes and images exist as tiles of one universe.

Claim your spot while the plane is almost empty.

No spam, no noise — just a single email when it's time to enter.

Core idea

Not another feed.
Your spatial OS.

You don't scroll through ION — you navigate it. Public and private planes sit side by side, so your inner world and the outer one finally share the same space.

🧩

Tiles for everything

People, tracks, images, notes — everything is a tile you drop on the plane and move like pieces of your universe.

🌓

Two planes, one mind

Private plane for thinking and collecting. Public plane for broadcasting. Flip between them instead of juggling apps.

🎵

Ambient audio layer

Drop music tiles and let your plane sound different in every zone. Tap a tile, change the atmosphere instantly.

🗺️

Spatial discovery

Explore other people's planes like maps, not timelines. Jump into a new world and walk it tile by tile.

🔐

Encrypted inner orbit

Private tiles are encrypted client-side before leaving your device. The outside is for the world — the inside stays yours.

♻️

Built to remix

See a tile on the public plane you love? Pull it into your private one and let your world grow from other worlds.

Feels more like a game than an app

You don't "check" ION like social media. You return to it like a world — to move things, to explore, to see what grew on your plane and on everyone else's.

• Walking through ION feels like wandering a city of private and public worlds instead of scrolling a flat list.
• Your plane becomes a spatial snapshot of your life: the people, scenes and sounds that actually matter right now.
• The more tiles you drop, the more routes appear. Discovery is not just content — it's new paths across the map.
Feeds turned your life into a stream.
We want to give it back as a space.

Every app takes your world, crushes it into a vertical list and feeds it back to you in someone else's order. ION refuses. Your content lives where you put it. Your connections have coordinates. There is no algorithm deciding what you see first — only the gravity of what you built.

Questions

Frequently asked

What exactly is a "plane"?
+
A plane is your infinite 2D canvas inside ION. Think of it as a room with no walls where you place content tiles — images, music, notes, user cards — anywhere you like. You navigate it by panning and the camera follows physics, like exploring a physical space.
Is my private data safe?
+
Yes. Private tiles are encrypted on your device using AES-256-CBC before any data leaves the app. The server stores only ciphertext — it has no access to your private content. Your key never leaves your phone.
Will ION be free?
+
The core experience will always be free. We plan optional pro features later — more tile types, bigger private planes, export tools. No subscriptions for the essentials, and absolutely no ads.
When does the beta start?
+
We're onboarding the first batch of waitlist users soon. Invites will go out in waves — earliest signups get in first. Drop your email and you'll be one of the first to know.
iOS or Android?
+
ION is built with Flutter, so it runs natively on both iOS and Android. Web and desktop versions are on the roadmap but won't be ready for the initial beta.
